The Board of Public Service Superannuation Plan Trustee Inc. (PSSPTI) is pleased to announce that one of its members, Ryan Brothers, recently completed the Directors Education Program and received his ICD.D designation from the Institute of Corporate Directors (ICD).
“I very much appreciate being offered the ICD development opportunity. I believe the training will significantly augment my role participating in the oversight of the Public Service Superannuation Plan,” said Mr. Brothers.
The ICD is a not-for-profit, member-based organization supporting Canadian directors and their boards. The ICD delivers ‘best in class governance education, thought leadership resources and opportunities for members to network within the director community.’
“Mr. Brothers has been a solid contributor to the PSSPTI Board since joining it in 2023,” said NS Pension CEO, Doug Moodie, “and I know that completion of the Directors Education Program will only enhance his capacity to provide ongoing governance support for the Plan.
“The PSSPTI Board furnishes strategic leadership in support of NS Pension’s professional management of the Superannuation Plan,” stated Board Chair, Leo McKenna. “The Plan continues to grow and strengthen, and Ryan has been an integral part of that. We hope his contributions continue for many years.”
